One month

Short and intense, when the date is close. Enough to revise what you have already read, or to work through the bank once before buying longer.

Two months

The usual preparation time, alongside the job. Enough to work through the whole syllabus domain by domain and go back to whatever sits worst.

Four months

Long and steady, starting in good time. Several passes through the syllabus at your own pace — between shifts and nights, or before a resit.
